"The highest compliment I receive is when clients tell me I made their home purchase or selling process easy and pleasant for them," says Jerry Jenkins, who considers many of his clients his close friends as well. "I want to help people find a place to call home for years to come and a property that will appreciate with them as their life changes in the future. The professional atmosphere at Engel and Volkers is what attracted Jenkins to the company. "There is an energy in our offices that you don't normally feel in other brokerages. Our store fronts are fun and lively and it reminds me of a jewelry store feel with people looking through the glass at our beautifully, featured properties. Our office here is basically the same design as all others around the world!" Jenkins has lived in the Mid-Cities area of the Metroplex since the early 90's. Since first hanging his license, Jenkins has always officed in Southlake, but he is also quite knowledgeable of many other sought-after neighborhoods throughout Tarrant, Dallas and Denton Counties. He uses his in-depth market knowledge to guide clients toward homes that meet their needs and investments that line up with their goals. Jenkins has a background in home remodeling and has an eye for what's trending now without forgetting home styles and decors of the past. Before a career in real estate, Jenkins was news reporter and anchor for the CBS affiliate, KTVT, television station and Public Relations Director at BNSF Railway. Jenkins hobbies include anything related to the outdoors, reading and says he knows his way around a kitchen! Jenkins was a former member of Leadership, Fort Worth Opera at Bass Hall and has two daughters, Jessica and Megan.
